Q 1. Who owns CUSOURCE Knowledge Network?

The Canadian credit union system (outside of Quebec) owns CUSOURCE Credit Union Knowledge Network (CUSOURCE Knowledge Network).  To be more precise, it is the credit unions and caisses populaires who are members of or affiliated with of their provincial/regional Central that own CUSOURCE Knowledge Network.


Q 2. Who is eligible to use or subscribe to CUSOURCE Knowledge Network?

If you are an employee or board director of any of the following, then you can become a CUSOURCE® Subscriber:

 

A Canadian credit union or caisse populaire that is a member of/affiliated with a provincial/regional Central

A Canadian credit union or caisse populaire that is not affiliated with a provincial/regional Central.  (You will pay a 30% premium on your subscription and for other products and services offered by CUSOURCE Knowledge Network.)

A Canadian co-operative, at the local, regional, provincial or national level.



Q 3. If my credit union does not want to be a corporate subscriber, can I still be an Individual Subscriber?

Absolutely!  Just be sure to have either a MasterCard®  credit card or VISA®  credit card to pay for your subscription and for any of the fine products and services available in the CUSOURCE Catalogue.


 

Q 4. Does CUSOURCE Knowledge Network offer only e-courses?

 

No!  While we have a rich and diverse array of online or web-based courses, CUSOURCE Knowledge Network's mandate is to “get learning to the learner.”  To do that, CUSOURCE Knowledge Network also offers self-study paper-based courses, instructor-led “in-class” courses, instructor-led webinar courses, as well as online learning groups called cohorts.  We also offer a number of free, information-sharing webinars on a variety of topics.

 

 

Q 5. What are the technological requirements to use the CUSOURCE web-based learning management system and to run online courses?
